There are a lot of bulls ranging from 260" to 350" in the areas we hunt, with the possibility of larger. We consider any branch bull a mature bull but we will always put in every effort to get you on the best quality bull in the area.

* These hunts are conducted in areas not known for exceptionally large bulls, if you happen to harvest a bigger bull there will not be any trophy fees.
Picture a lead cow in the distance, directing a herd of younger cows, calfs and spikes to a grazing area or a lost cow trying to rejoin the herd. A combination of spot/stalk and ambush style hunting, this hunt is sure to be memorable. Expect longer shots in the 200-500 yard range with occasional shots under 100 yards.

* If a bull steps out and there is an opportunity to harvest it, there will be no additional fees. The tag is for any elk, we will not charge extra for you filling your tag.
An old herd bull wandering through the dense Tamarack trees and into the deep sandy washes, seeking seclusion, seeking safety for the winter months. A young satellite bull searching for others, looking for a bachelor herd to join up with until the next rut. Maybe a bachelor herd hanging out under the cottonwood trees. Not as action packed as the rut but make no mistake, this hunt can be just as exhilarating. Expect shots in the 200-500 yard range with occasional shots under 100 yards.

A discounted hunt geared towards residents of Arizona who want to experience a guided hunt for a great price. This is a short hunt, no being picky here, the first elk to step out is what you'll be hunting. More of a meat hunt with the possibility of a bull. We will put the same amount of effort and conviction into your hunt as we do all of our other hunt packages.
4 Day. Guided only, 1x1 +Spotter, OTC Any Elk hunt outside of September.
The clients will be responsible for the following:
1. Their own lodging ( recommendations can be provided).
2. Meals ( sack lunches will be provided while hunting).
3. Transportation to meet guides if necessary.
4. Transportation to/from airport.
Fully Outfitted hunts can enjoy these benefits:
1. Accommodations will be at the Best Western Plus located in Winslow, AZ or one of the local Airbnb houses. Stays at The Winslow or the La Posada hotel are available for an additional up-charge.
2. Meals will be from local establishments in Winslow, AZ unless out in the field then it will be a sack lunch. Snacks and drinks also provided.
3. Transportation from the airport to lodging included. Guide will pick you up in the morning to go hunting.
The clients will be responsible for:
1. Firearms and ammunition
2. Day pack, clothing, camouflage, boots ETC... ( recommendations can be provided.)
3. Travel/airfare to and from Winslow, AZ. 86047
4. Alcohol will not be provided, we have a zero tolerance policy for alcohol in the field or being intoxicated while hunting.
5. Hunters must obtain a Valid Az Hunt License (Resident $37) Non-Resident $160 and purchase a OTC Non Permit Elk Tag (Resident $135) Non-Resident $650.
6. Meat processing/taxidermy
Although there is no law in AZ for wounding animals, F.A.T.S.O. Guide Service and our guides have made the ethical decision to uphold this policy to the highest standard. If an animal has been wounded in a way that is apparently lethal, then the hunt is over. In the end it is up to the guide and outfitter's discretion, as we have the ethical responsibility to lethally-wounded wildlife. We will put in every effort to get you another shot at wounded animals and retrieve your game during the hunt.

A 50% deposit is required for all hunt packages or payment in full.
Any payment or deposit is deemed non-refundable and non-transferable.
